About the Trip

Westwood Orchestra will travel to Orlando March 11–15, 2027 for an exciting 5-day orchestra experience!

Students will have the opportunity to travel with their orchestra friends, participate in music experiences, and enjoy attractions throughout Orlando.

Trip Registration

100 Student Spots Available

Students interested in attending the Orlando trip must be registered through the official trip enrollment process.

Registration is first come, first served and is subject to availability.

The travel agreement states that participant enrollment is available until October 30, 2026, or until the trip is full, whichever occurs first, after which a waitlist may be started.

We also need 5 Chaperones!

We are looking for 5 adult chaperones to accompany our students on the Orlando trip.

Chaperone participation is an important part of helping provide a safe, organized, and successful trip experience for our students.

Chaperone Requirements

All chaperones must:

☑️ Be approved by the Westwood Orchestra / appropriate trip leadership

☑️ Pay their required portion of the trip

☑️ Completed the current fiscal year's RRISD Volunteer Application

☑️ Be approved through the RRISD volunteer process before participating as a chaperone

☑️ Register through the travel agency portal.
(Chaperones will be put on a waitlist to make sure all the above requirements are completed.)

Fundraise toward your Orlando trip!

The Westwood Orchestra Booster Club is excited to provide registered students with the opportunity to create their own Zeffy Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Campaign.

🎯 Fundraising Goal: $2,000

Parents/guardians can create a personal fundraising page for their student and share it with family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and their community.

⭐ 100% Fundraising Credit

100% of the funds raised through your student’s personal fundraising page will be credited toward their Orlando trip expenses.

The Booster Club receives the donations and tracks each student's fundraising credit.

⚠️ Important: ⚠️

Register for the trip FIRST. Pay the $475 Deposit Fee. Then create your students personal fundraiser if you choose to.

Students should not create a personal fundraising campaign unless they have registered for the Orlando trip.
